Alan Kleinman — Subcontracts Management Sr. Staff, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, Advanced Development Programs
Two decades managing R&D and production subcontracts across Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus, and Time & Material vehicles for Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman — from sourcing strategy through award and post-award administration.
I currently lead subcontracts management for Advanced Development Programs at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, supporting the U-2 program and a Special Access Restricted Program — awarding and managing large mixed-mode R&D subcontracts, briefing program leadership on risk and cost-saving opportunities, and mentoring colleagues through complex subcontracting actions.
Before Lockheed, I spent fifteen years at Northrop Grumman across Mission Systems, Emerging Programs (Directed Energy, Space, R&T), and Airborne Systems — progressing from material support and standard parts buying into subcontracts and contracts management on multi-million dollar R&D efforts.
I hold a Graduate Certificate in Program Management from UC Irvine and a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Cal State Long Beach, with additional training in international buying, facilitation, and Lean Six Sigma (Greenbelt).
